Shipping & Delivery (International Direct)
To maintain strict quality control, all Linenretreat products are shipped directly from our warehouse in Ontario, Canada. We partner with reputable international courier companies, including DHL Express, FedEx Priority, and UPS Priority, to ensure reliable delivery to Europe.
Order Processing: Typically dispatched within 2–3 business days.
Transit to Europe: Shipments generally arrive within 7–14 business days following dispatch.
Import Duties & Taxes: As items are dispatched from Canada, the customer acts as the Importer of Record. Your order will be subject to local VAT and import duties upon arrival in your country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
How can I track my order?
Transparency is central to our service. Once your parcel departs our Canadian facility, you will receive an automated email containing a tracking reference. You may monitor its progress as it clears customs and proceeds to your local delivery address.
What happens if my delivery is delayed?
If a shipment exceeds the estimated transit window, our team will initiate a formal enquiry with the carrier. Depending on the outcome, we will provide a resolution, such as a replacement or a full refund to your original payment method.
Returns & Consumer Rights
What is your return policy for European customers?
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers within the EU/EEA have a 14-day Right of Withdrawal. You may return your item within 14 days of receipt without providing a justification. Please note that for non-defective returns, the cost of international return shipping to our Canadian facility remains the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
What should I do if my item arrives with a defect?
We maintain rigorous quality standards. If you receive a damaged laundry basket, please contact us at laundrybasket@linenretreat.com with your order number and photographic evidence. Once verified, we will issue a replacement or a full refund. You are not required to return damaged goods.
